What Is JMCC?
The John Molson Competition Committee (JMCC) is a case competition program that brings together the brightest minds of Concordia’s business community. Each year, it carefully selects top students from the faculty to represent the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) at competitions at regional, national and international levels. The program gathers students from all majors offered at JMSB and shapes them to become the business leaders of tomorrow.
Year after year, we pride ourselves in our delegates who continuously demonstrate ingenuity, creativity, and spirit. The John Molson Competition Committee (JMCC) runs the largest case competition program in the world. By embodying JMSB’s true colors, the program has cultivated a world-renowned reputation as one of the strongest competition programs.

What We Do
We Compete.
Vision
Our vision is to provide the ultimate university learning experience to John Molson undergraduates and to enhance the faculty's reputation worldwide.
How it Works
JMCC selects, trains and sends academic teams to represent Concordia at regional, national and international case competitions.
The competitions are focused on various disciplines including accounting, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, HR, international business, marketing, MIS, strategy and tax.
Format
Students are given a real-life case study in which a company has a specific problem. The team has a set amount of time to analyze the situation and prepare and present a recommendation to a panel of judges, which include high-level industry professionals.
Coaching
Each team is assigned one head coach and a minimum of one assistant coach responsible for training and judging them, in preparation for the competitions they will be attending. Coaches are often successful alumni of the program and have strong case and industry experience.
